Clone in Seconds, Secure Backup and Sleep at Night
I cannot tell you the hours and years I have invested in learning html, etc.
But I haven’t opened Dreamweaver in years. Why? WordPress!
You just cannot beat WordPress for ease of creation, wonderful themes, plugins and widgets – wow! And it is so easy – even a novice can have a blog up in minutes. And best of all – it’s free!
But there are two things about WordPress that I wished could be improved:
- I’d like to be able to even more quickly copy a blog into another blog. So that if I’m promoting Widget A — and I’ve worked out the theme, plugins, widgets, etc.. it would be nice to just duplicate it to a blog for Widget B and with a few tweaks it too is up and running.
- It’d be nice to have a really decent way to backup my blogs so that, if ever needed, I can just push a button and it’s all back – every post, comment, and setting.
Well guess what? It’s now available! … and this nearly miraculous little plugin is capable of not only Cloning one of your blogs to another – totally intact – everything but the Title… but it’s a simple – so very easy – way to backup your blogs for safe keeping and ease of reinstalling.
Why, just the other day, I had installed a plugin that messed up some of the features of my blog. Had I already had this great cloning plugin, it would have taken me less than 5 minutes to completely reinstall my blog.
